OUR STORY
A HUMBLE BEGINNING
Founder of Foxscapes and Fox Tree Farm, Nathan Fox has spent the majority of his life working with plants, shrubs, trees, and grass. In his early years, Nathan spent his days working out in the yard redesigning flower beds, mowing and trimming trees with his father. After he was tall enough to independently mow the lawn, he felt inspired to pursue this kind of work. He realized it was his dream and passion to be in the green industry. Nathan attended Michigan State University studying Landscape & Nursery Management but with the COVID-19 pandemic, he decided to step away from the college and find mentors and veterans in the industry to learn from.
Through Foxscapes, Nathan grew and found a need for high-quality trees for others in his community.
We have used Fox Tree Farm for the purchase and planting of trees for a number of years. Their service is excellent and quality of product is great. We highly recommend Goose Creek for your next tree project.

GOOSE CREEK TREE FARM
FROM TODD TO NATHAN
That’s when Nathan met Todd Ness, the former owner of the Goose Creek Tree Farm, now Fox Tree Farm. Nathan had extensive conversations with Todd about trees, business, and best practices for starting a farm. As their relationship developed, the idea of Nathan owning the farm became more realistic and would benefit both Nathan and Todd. In April 2021, Nathan acquired the farm with guidance from Todd.
Fox Tree Farm’s goal is to create and continue to build relationships with the Portland and surrounding areas and continue to serve the customers of Goose Creek Tree Farm.
OUR MISSION
FOX TREE FARM’S MISSION IS TO BUILD CONNECTIONS, GROW LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIPS, AND INVEST IN OTHERS THROUGH PROVIDING QUALITY TREES, NURSERY STOCK & INSTALLATION SERVICES.
So very seldom do you receive more than what you pay for, but with Fox Tree Farm we certainly did! They were planted with such care and make our home look great.
